Oreagano tea for coughing

New Year has passed long ago. I am here now, writing something just to spare time while my brother and sister come back from their walk... I am ill so I cannot go out U.U

2012 so far: I went and came back from my holidays, twice. I celebrated my dad's birthday, I went to the cinema, I illustrated and read and now I just started to study. I've always found awkard to study during the morning so instead I do other things, like preparing some surprises for this year, stuff I am makeing and trying out so then I can sell them and start a little bussiness. The goal: England! I still want to travel and see England and try to find a place to live and to work there, so I am in this quest for a job and, of course, my self artistic development.

What else? Oh, I might buy a piano or something near one so I can practise and not just try the music sheets on my piano made of paper... yes, I made one! :) I found out recently that I am truly in love with movie soundtracks and that I would love to become a composer. One other thing I want to do, one other thing to add to my list of "to be".
Drawings, illustrations, fashion designs, photographs and another ships full of ideas to the top are popping out from my head whenever they can, I can barely risist to them. It seems that my mind does not understand that I only have ONE pair of hands and that I can't draw and paint and sew all at the same time. Yes, I'll have to talk to my mind and let this things cleare, most of all because those ideas interrupt my studying...

Alright, this is everyting for now. I gotta make some more oregano tea, it's great against coughing!!
Have a great week!

Today I've learn: If I wake up early I can do a lot of things before lunch!

PS: I leave you this master piece of music created by the mega genious Michael Giacchino (winner of an Oscar for his music from the Pixar movie's Up) from the movie Super 8. Enjoy!

Inspiration Day: Fashion Film "The Curve of Forgotten Things"

I found this just now and I loved it.
I absolutely love Rodarte and Elle Fanning, and put them together is just genious!

I think today is gonna be one of those "Inspiration day", you know, one those days that have the perfect weather, the perfect pictures, the perfect picture or video (like this one) and just gather and inlight your mind and heart... I want to draw, and illustrate, I want to sew and read and take pictures, I want to listen to music and travel and walk. Oh, but I got homework... which I'll do right away... after I finish this "Inspiration day" :) (naughty!)

This week was not very exciting, nothing interesting happened nor I did anything cool. I guess all those cool things that should have been spread along the week are now in one box today, Saturday... the day of fun! ^^
I think, I think I'm gonna create "Saturday: Inspiration Day" in this blog... yeahp. It'll be fun to do and it could make me post more often. Ok, yeah, I declare today: June 11th 2011 that from now on every saturday will be "Saturday: Inspiration Day" in this blog. (claps*!!!) Oh, I'm already excited! :)

(Something singular to add to this post) Yesterday I wore make-up, red lipstick and mascara... I am not used to wear any but as I was very bored I decided to put a little adventure to my personal style and... well, went out with some nice make-up on. People liked it (surprise!) so I guess I'm gonna start using once in a while, just for a change.

Alright, this is everything for now folks... I guess (who nows what kind of Inspiration may possess me this Inspiration Day!)
Have a great weekend!!!

Today I've learn: making a short film as a fashion lookbook is a good idea.

Cold early mornings

"Perfectly Perfect" by Elizabeth and the Catapult
The morning is about to end in about two hours and I already found two awesomeness: this video which is so cute and funny, and a japanese designer who is just amazing... Everlasting Sprout... check it out, his designs are very artistic and he creates very appealing figures: a mix between classic, mori-girl and modern design using mostly wool and organic fabrics.

I had a very very very long and exhausted week, very! Nonetheless, yesterday I brought home two of my friends to finish the photoshoot for the expo I have next month at my fashion design course. It was an extremely cold morning -which was perfect really- but we freeze taking all the pictures in my backyard and the weak sun did not help much. Anyway, the pictures turned out awesome and I learnt a lot about how to organize a photoshoot and what kind of directions give to the model, etc...

from my last collection "L'Obscurité": "Dew" dress.

What else? Well, I'll go back to my knitting... it's being a long time since I last made an amigurumi and I really miss doing it. So, I'll start again, or try at least... I still have a pile of homework for Uni... no matter, I'll make an effort, knitting is one of my relaxing activities so I MUST go back to it before I go mad with all the other stuff. creepy smile*
So, have a great weekend! :)

Today I've learn: getting up really early helps to discovering new things!
Hugs and smiles.

Rain rain rain...

Well, bad mood and depress are gone... I think. Nah, yeah, they're definitely gone! And thanks to Aslan, I'm smiling and happy and with a bit of more energy to do stuff or maybe just go on. What helped?? Well, mostly the freedom to have some free-bad mood time for a while and let it go slowly, but let it show and not keep it inside as I've been doing this whole time... is good to do sometime, it makes you feel lighter then. What else?? Music helped too, friends, buying the ticket to go to the FANtastiCON next Saturday, watch the new HP & DH trailer (OMRowling!!!!), family and gym... definitely gym helped a lot!!

Argentina 1- Nigeria 0
Not as much as I expected from the match but... hell I liked the team!!! They played like a real argentinian team, with heart and soul! ^^ Part of them, the rest of their soul and heart are waiting for the finals!!! :P

What else?? Oh, right, IT'S RAINING!!! So, I'm inmediately going to draw and read and then watch a movie!! ^^ Nice weekend I'm having... what about you??

Today I've learn: Maradona can do nice things! ^^

XOXO

Gimme gimme gimme

Well, ABBA surely gives rythm to my day!!! They sound so great, so energetic and cool... makes me wanna dance! Yeah, dance... this is one of the few kinds of music that would make me dance!!! Weird.
ABBA has great songs, many many great songs, but for this reason or another "Gimme gimme gimme" is the song for today, funny (don't know how!)!! Yeah, I do know how and why... Rose knows. Give ya a hint: "bus-bishi"!!! :P
I'm planning my whole weekend for a special project I have to finish due Wednesday about a weird helmet with paintings of different scenarios, etc.

Big news: My mum finished editing my novel so I have to re-read it again (like for the sixth time!) and then I'll try to make it be published! I like the story very much and though it has some similarities with some books I love, it got my blood on it so it's very special and unique... I think. I just hope I'll have some spare time soon so I can re-read it, though that seems unlikely 'cause Uni got me by the neck. Furthermore, we're already at the end of May!!! Can't believe how time flew so fast... didn't see it... and as May is almost living us big exams are aproaching silently but scary. I'd like to have a whole week for doing nothing... or maybe read, yeah, read please! Start reading the books I bought at the Book Fair and which I haven't touched yet; I feel so horrible for this, so horrible!!

What else?? Oh, yeah,... found an interesting guy in the bus, saw him twice (he saw me as well!) though the second time I thought he was someone else so I pretend not to see him. Big mistake!!! I'm suddenly visible for some people that four months ago I would have being invisible for sure... Hum, don't want to think about that now. No.

Today I've learn: I'm so naif sometimes...

XOXO
Safi

P.S.: I want ice-cream!!!!
